Bad Breath Halitosis: Free the Air, Breath Fresh

If you have ever sat down next to someone and after striking up a conversation you realize that they have bad breath halitosis. Leaving just isn’t an option so you have to sit through the horrible smell. In a situation like this what options do you have? Do you confront the smell head on with mints and spray? Do you just walk away?

If you want to avoid talking to people then go ahead and ignore your bad breath or halitosis and see how many friends, or enemies you create. Imagine if a conversation was unavoidable, then what do you do? You ignore the foul smell in your mouth and continue with the conversation or do you actually take action and fix the problem I have put together a couple pointers for you to consider and hopefully you can clean up the air you are breathing on other people.

Start out by brushing your tongue every time you brush your teeth. If you don’t brush your teeth, start there. When you are out or just eat something that has a strong smell or odor, garlic and onions are great examples, do everyone a favor and pull out some mouthwash or toothbrush and get to work. The chemicals of your body together with the odor of the food combine to produce a foul smell that most people can’t stand.

When you eat meat it can be a huge problem for those people around you. The meat sticks between the teeth and then the acid in your mouth combines with the meat to produce a foul smell. Flossing or using a tooth pick will help eliminate the foul odor produced if you don’t.

It’s easy to prevent bad breath halitosis when drinking coffee or milk. Avoid letting your mouth go dry after drinking these items by flushing you mouth out with water and remaining hydrated throughout the day. This will help you avoid bad breath halitosis.

Stop Bad Breath Naturally

If you are needing a halitosis remedy, you’ve come to the right place.

But first, what is halitosis? Quite simply… BAD BREATH. You know, you come up close to talk to somebody special — and they back away from you. Ouch!

When your breath stinks, you need to find out how to stop bad breath.

Halitosis is an oral condition (of the mouth) that causes your breath to smell as bad as rotten eggs. At least 40% of the world’s population continues suffering from persistent bad breath.

Many folks would think that if they do the right things in terms of  “proper oral hygiene” (things like brushing their teeth and flossing between their teeth to get out the hard-to-brush food particles), they  should have minty fresh breath.

Unfortunately this is not always the case.

And when people tell you to have a piece of gum or a breath mint, it’s an indicator you have a more serious problem.

UNDERLYING CAUSES IN THE BAD BREATH DEPARTMENT

  • Many things can cause bad breath. One of them is gum disease. A strong indicator of gum disease is swollen or red gums. In severe cases this may be accompanied by bleeding. Contact a dentist if you have severe bleeding of the gums.
